Davenport Ranch is a 2,500 Acre Planned Unit Development located near Capital of Texas Highway, and Pennybacker Bridge. The PUD brought in to the development commercial and office centers, residential subdivisions, and addressed issues of long-term transportation needs for the area.
The key component to this plan was the densification of the then planned intersection at Westlake Drive, and Capital of Texas Highway. The ultimate masterplan called for the transfer of development rights to this intersection in exchange for the creation of Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve, thus preserving iconic Hill Country views, and the environmentally sensitive land .
LSI was the lead consultant on designing and gaining approval for the overall land use masterplan, which was followed by preparation of preliminary plats, development entitlements, and landscape plans.
